Serkis, who voiced Gollum in the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies, resurrected the character for a brief sketch in which he mocked Putin's recent actions in Ukraine. In the sketch, Serkis' Gollum character sits on a throne and rants about how he wants to "find the One Ring" and "rule the world."
