A press release revealed that the working title for the upcoming Lord of the Rings prequel film is simply 'Lord of the Rings'. The film is set to be directed by Andy Serkis, who famously played Gollum in the original Lord of the Rings trilogy.
The prequel film will tell the story of the younger days of Gollum, and how he came into possession of the One Ring. It is expected to be released in 2024.
